一 (ONE.) What is a zine?
A zine is a collection of fan works, ranging from fanart to fanfiction, featured in a magazine-like format and often representing a theme/ship.二 (TWO.) What is the focus of the zine?
Yatagarasu is a SFW character-centric zine focused on Kujou Sara from Genshin Impact.三 (THREE.) Will this zine be for-profit or not-for-profit?
Yatagarasu is a for-charity zine! Once we meet production costs and cover complementary bundles, any remaining profits will be donated to BirdLife International, a global partnership of non-governmental organizations that strives to conserve birds and their habitats. Read more here.四 (FOUR.) Will this zine be physical or digital?
Yatagarasu will be a physical zine with digital (book and merch) options.五 (FIVE.) What are the zine specs?
The zine will be in A5 size and perfect-bound with ≅100 pages. There will be a digital side zine with ship-focused content. All content in this project will be SFW (PG-13).六 (SIX.) Will the zine feature ships or other characters?
Since this is a general zine, we encourage character interactions with Sara as long as she remains the focus. Ships may be hinted at, but cannot be the focus and should allow room for the relationships to be interpreted otherwise.七 (SEVEN.) Will modern AUs (alternate universe) be allowed?
Yes! We welcome any modern interpretations of Sara’s character as long as she is depicted in a positive light and is recognizable. While we are open to AUs, do keep in mind we are mostly looking for canon-adherent work.八 (EIGHT.) How many contributors will be included?
We will be accepting around 45 contributors with 30-32 page artists, 5-7 writers, and 5-7 merch artists, inclusive of guests.九 (NINE.) How will contributors be compensated?
As a for-charity zine, once we meet production costs and cover complementary bundles, any remaining profits will be donated to BirdLife International. All contributors will be compensated with a full zine bundle if sales allow. If we cannot break even for a full bundle, the moderator team will try to compensate contributors for any of the following, depending on the sales: half bundle, selected merch, or physical zine only.十 (TEN.) Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, but you will only be accepted for one of them.十一 (ELEVEN.) Is there an age requirement for contributor applicants?
Contributor applicants must be 16 years or over at the time of applying.十二 (TWELVE.) What is your tolerance policy?
We have a no-tolerance policy. Any applicants/contributors caught or reported to do any of the behaviors listed below will result in disqualification of the application or immediate removal from the project.Behaviors that are not tolerable:
— Harassment and/or bullying.
— Bigotry (ie. racism, sexism, homo/transphobia, ableism, etc.)
— Endorse or condone abuse, incest, and pedophilia.

▶ All applicants must be 16 or over at the time of application.▶ Applicants may apply for more than one role but will only be accepted for one.▶ All portfolio links must be easily accessible. If using a Google Drive folder, please ensure that permissions are set to “anyone with the link”. If links are not accessible, the Moderator Team will not notify you, and you will not be considered.▶ All contributors will retain the rights to their works and may re-distribute them after pre-orders have closed and all orders have been shipped. Sharing any unauthorized WIPs is prohibited.▶ Any NSFW samples must be tagged appropriately or in a separate folder. NSFW samples must not be the first piece in your portfolio.▶ All samples must be original. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.▶ All contributors will be required to have Discord as it will be our main form of communication.By applying for a position as a contributor, you have confirmed that you have read the guidelines and will adhere to the project's timeline and everything included in your position. Failure to adhere to the guidelines may result in disqualification.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
▶ Please provide three (3) samples of your best work and a portfolio consisting of 5-10 pieces that best showcase your abilities. Samples may also be pieces in your portfolio.▶ At least one (1) of your pieces must be of a Genshin Impact character. A sample of Sara is not required but highly recommended.▶ Traditional art is acceptable if you can provide a high-quality scan at 300dpi.▶ All pieces in your portfolio are completed. Any unfinished pieces or WIPs will not be acceptable.
CONTRIBUTOR EXPECTATIONS
▶ Contribute either a new and original single page or double page spread illustration exclusive to the zine.▶ All completed pieces must be done in CMYK at 300dpi.▶ Meet deadlines and fulfill responsibilities expected as a contributor.▶ Communicate well with the Moderator Team.
